Driver Settings Component


The Driver Settings Component will set how to display driver information throughout the overlay.


Components are imported directly from within iRacing Live Timing. In iRacing Live Timing press F4 to open the Remote Control Tab and then F2 to enter Edit Mode. Click the Import Library button and select from the list the component you want to import. The component will then be imported to your Remote Control Tab in the first available empty space (often below existing components).

Display Data

  • Missing position
    • Show/Hide – Show or Hide drivers in the Timing Tower that have not set a lap time in Practice and Qualifying sessions.
  • Position display
    • Overall – Display driver positions based on Overall positions.
    • Class – Display driver positions based on Class positions.
  • Lapped/lapping
    • Color – Display lapping drivers in Red and lapped drivers in Blue (based on position of selected driver).
    • None – No colors are displayed.
  • Class display
    • Class set 1 – Select Class set 1.
    • Class set 2 – Select Class set 2.
    • Class set 3 – Select Class set 3.
    • Overall – Display all drivers.
    • Class set – Display only drivers in the currently selected Class set.
    • Grouped – Display drivers grouped by Class.
    • Class – Display only drivers in the currently selected Class. The Class currently selected is the Class of the selected driver in the selected Class set.
  • Team color
    • Position – Display Team Color as set in Driver Overrides within the position box.
    • Stripe – Display Team Color as set in Driver Overrides with a stripe next to the position box.
    • None – Do not display Team Color.
  • iRacing color
    • Position – Display iRacing Colors as set by driver in iRacing within the position box.
    • Stripe – Display iRacing Colors as set by driver in iRacing with a stripe next to the position box.
    • None – Do not display iRacing Colors.
  • Class color
    • Position – Display Class Colors as set in Driver Class Overrides within the position box.
    • Stripe – Display Class Colors as set in Driver Class Overrides with a stripe next to the position box.
    • None – Do not display Class Colors.
  • Selected color
    • Position – Highlight the selected driver within the position box.
    • Stripe – Highlight the selected driver with a stripe next to the position box.
    • None – Do not highlight the selected driver.
  • Offtrack color
    • Position – Highlight driver off track state as reported by iRacing Live Timing within the position box.
    • Stripe  Highlight driver off track state as reported by iRacing Live Timing with a stripe next to the position box.
    • None – Do not highlight driver off track state.
