The Initial Settings Component provides several settings to check before starting your stream/race.
Components are imported directly from within iRacing Live Timing. In iRacing Live Timing press F4 to open the Remote Control Tab and then F2 to enter Edit Mode. Click the Import Library button and select from the list the component you want to import. The component will then be imported to your Remote Control Tab in the first available empty space (often below existing components).

- Overlay Delay
- Driving – Select this option if you are driving in the session to ensure there is no delay in the data displayed by the overlay.
- Spectating – When spectating in iRacing the view is delayed by one second. This setting delays the display of the data received from iRacing by one second to ensure the view and data are correctly synced.
- Type
- Live Session – Select if you are in a live iRacing session to display live race data.
- Replay File – Select if you are viewing a replay file to display “live” race data.
- iRacing UI
- Show – Click to display the iRacing UI.
- Hide – Click to hide the iRacing UI.
